An inactive, chronic toxoplasma macular scar in the right eye of a healthy 23-year-old female patient. She reported to have had poor vision in this eye since very early age.
Therefore, this likely represents a sequelae of a congenital toxoplasmosis infection.
FA shows areas of hyperfluorescence due to windows defects and hypofluoresence due to blocking from pigmented fibrotis tissue as well as staining of the fibrosis in the macula.
